Marathoner + Fancy Feet
Stamina 0.945 · Turn 1.1 · Speed 0.95
Palia 0.205 · Animal Husbandry · Mount breeding
Six traits, three competing slots. Each gives a 10% advantage and charges a 5% penalty somewhere else. Pick the traits your mount has and this works out what it actually rides like — including how two traits on the same stat combine.
A mount holds at most one trait per slot — the two traits in each column compete, so no mount can have both. Slots may also sit empty, and most mounts leave one or two that way. Select whatever your mount actually has, including just a single trait.
Modifiers on the same attribute multiply. Stamina is a consumption rate, so lower is better — a value under 1.00 means less drain.
When two traits touch the same stat, the game multiplies them — it does not add them up. Three real mounts, checked against what the game actually reports:
Marathoner + Fancy Feet
Stamina 0.945 · Turn 1.1 · Speed 0.95
Technical + Steady
Turn 1.045 · Speed 0.95 · Stamina 0.90
Sprinter + Fancy Feet
Stamina 1.1025 · Speed 1.1 · Turn 1.1
The third case is the sharpest: two penalties landing on the same stat.
Additive folding predicts 1.10, the game reports 1.1025. The trailing
25 only exists if the modifiers multiply.
These work differently from the six above. They change nothing about the mount carrying them — instead they buff everyone riding with you. A mount can hold one of these and a stat trait at the same time.
